From the communication before the purchase and after I received the product hands down some of the best.
works great, very responsive, and works with lincoln my way app now with a 4g modem (bought separately)

Purchased this upgrade for my Son’s 2013 Lincoln MKS and it was worth every penny. The screen is very clear, colorful, and it made the backup camera clearer as well. I had to reuse the mounting brackets and hardware from the Sync 2 screen which worked perfectly, and the hardware fit well. Buy it!
Just installed my Sync 1 to 3 upgrade in 2016 F150. Couldn't be happier. Wiring harness much simpler to install than some of those high dollar kits. Customer service exceptional. I had a couple questions. Responded very fast. Highly recommend All Things Sync.
My apim was failing on my sync 2 unit this is such a massive upgrade just the CarPlay makes it worth it for me being seemless integration with all oem systems makes it even better
Upgraded because the original Bluetooth module failed, well worth the money wife loves the new interface, the speed and touchscreen sensitivity is so much better.
Device works as suppose to. Huge upgrade from sync 2 to the sync 3 everything was included, install was easy and dealing with customer service was exceptional to place my order. Highly recommend. 5/5 for both the product and company itself.
This kit is completely plug and play. No modification necessary. Great upgrade over the sync 2. The navigation is much nicer than the sync2. Seamless apple carplay integration.
The original Sync 2 system in our '16 F450 was a joke. There was no damage nor abuse to the original system and yet it would take multiple touches to the screen to get any response. This upgrade was not only easy to do on a technical level (took us about an hour), but the usability of the Sync (3) System is worlds apart from the original and is now usable (it was actually dangerous to try to interact with the original Sync 2 system while driving because of the severity of the distraction). That's all gone and we now have a touch screen that not only works, but is easier to navigate and far more reliable to use. Highly recommended.
I have a 2017 Mustang with the Sync 3 radio so when I bought my 2015 F-150 by that point I was already spoiled with CarPlay and was devastated about my truck’s antique radio. Ordered the product and it was literally plug n play with no issues with the kit they provided. Installation only took around 30 minutes and climate control, backup camera, and steering buttons worked liked a charm. I’m highly satisfied with my Sync 3 now.
Super easy and self explanatory installation.Screen looks way better than the previous sync 2. I haven’t had it very long, but I am looking forward to seeing how it holds up.
When I ordered this product, Mitral was very responsive to inquiries, and had it shipped to me in just a few days. Installation was so easy and the final product works like a charm!
My 2016 F150 head unit would take a few minutes to turn on and apple car play and Bluetooth stopped working. I bought a replacement APIM from All Things Sync and now everything works again! It was a very easy install, took about 30 minutes with no prior experience pulling off trim pieces and watching a you tube video step by step. If you know what you are doing, could probably be done in under 10 minutes. The best part was the APIM was plug and play. It came already programmed and worked immediately. I can’t believe I waited months when this was so easy and less expensive then I had anticipated. Would definitely order from them again.
Made it feel like a new car. Install was pretty straightforward, if you've ever put a car radio in, you could definitely do this.
5 star option is not enough, great service and system worked flawless out of the box, I asked Mitral 50 questions and he was very cool about the hesitatation.great customer service!
Excellent seller, fast shipping. Installation was easy and took about a hour to change the display. Great quality OEM pieces.
Answered all my questions, easy to order and fast shipping. Install was a breeze, Highly recommend!
Mitral really knows his stuff! Had issues with another company with communication and processing time. Mitral got my programming written the same day. When I had an issue, response time was short. VERY satisfied with the purchase! Look nowhere else, all the others are imitators. This is the guy!
F250 sync 3 upgrade fast response and shipping was fast and with updates sent to my phone. Install was 15 minutes very straight forward extremely happy customer.
Ordered from allthingssync and the order was shipped same day. It came quicker than expect and I installed immediately. The quality is like brand new. No flaws found. I highly recommend using allthingsync! Would definitely order again
Installed this in my 2015 Lincoln MKC and works great. Mitral at the company was excellent to deal with and responded to all of my questions (there were a lot) almost immediately.
There are no installation instructions, so I will try to give you an idea of what is involved.
With a trim tool you remove the trim piece directly above the center console retractable door (the piece is shaped like the curl of a wave). You then remove the next trim piece where the interior light is. This piece is tricky. You pull it down in the center carefully and gently. There are three more tabs with clips that hold it in directly under the climate seat controls buttons so once you pull it down you then gently slide it towards the rear of the vehicle to remove. Be careful here, I thought it would have pulled straight down and broke the plastic tabs. I fixed them with epoxy but hoping to save someone else the hassle. On the dash, you remove the center speaker grill with a trim tool (you remove it with the frame NOT just the grill) it just pops up. Then there are two 8mm bolts at the top of the instrument bezel and two from underneath (where you removed the trim). Once those four 8mm bolts are removed, the entire bezel will pull forward and out.
There are five harness connections, one at the top area of the shifter buttons (this uses a lock that you flip back to disconnect), Two at the stereo itself (one has the lock that you flip back also), and two at the bottom where the seat control buttons are. Once these are disconnected, you should be able to remove the entire piece.
Lay the entire unit on a soft towel face down so as not to scratch anything. There are four 8mm bolts that hold the stereo to the bezel which you remove and lift the stereo out. When you install the new stereo pay close attention to the alignment of the screen looking from the front as there are no alignment holes to center it. On my first attempt, the screen was not centered (to far to the left and not level going across the bottom) so I wound up pulling it back out twice to get it where I thought it was centered. There is a GPS antenna you install and the wire fit perfectly in that split in the middle of the dash, so you do not see the wire or the antenna unless you look for it.
Installation is exactly the opposite of the removal.
There is a replacement USB port. I used a pick tool and found the original has a clip right in the middle of the top of its frame and it pulled right out. There are two wires that get unplugged and plugged into the new USB port (one used a supplied adapter cable).
Take your time, and it is very easy. Maybe 60 minutes total the first try and about 15/20 minutes when I had to pull it back out to align the screen to my liking.
Good luck and enjoy!
I ordered the part and mistakenly ordered two. They emailed and fixed the issue right away. Part came all programmed and works perfect. Even the return credit was timely!
I can’t say enough good things about this entire experience. I received my unit 2 days after ordering it. It took maybe 15 minutes to install. Everything integrated seamlessly. I have installed a few after market radios. They are always a pain to get all the features to function properly (steering controls, back up cameras, etc). That was not the case with the Sync upgrade. Most everything was OEM and genuine Ford products. It’s was truly plug and play. I didn’t have to make up a single connection. I have had it in my truck (2015 F-250) for a few weeks and never experienced an issue. I have owned my truck since it was new (10 years) this upgrade is a must!
Shipping was very quick and installation was a breeze. Everything works exactly as it should. I couldn’t be happier!
