Bezel Condition: Replacement bezels are genuine OEM Ford parts and may have minor scratches or normal cosmetic wear. We do our best to provide the cleanest bezels available.

SYNC 3 adds modern smartphone integration while keeping the factory Ford appearance of your Super Duty.

Connect a compatible phone to use Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts, calls, messages and other compatible apps directly from the 8" touchscreen.

Ford Factory Navigation — Highly Recommended

We highly recommend selecting Ford Factory Navigation with this conversion.

The navigation-equipped SYNC 3 APIM gives you Ford's built-in GPS navigation directly on the 8" touchscreen, in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Factory Navigation gives you:

• Built-in Ford GPS navigation

• Navigation without depending on your phone

• An additional option when cellular service is limited

• Both Ford Navigation and Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze

• A more complete SYNC 3 upgrade

For Super Duty owners who travel, tow, camp or regularly drive in rural areas, having built-in navigation can be especially useful.

If you're already upgrading from the 4" system to SYNC 3, we highly recommend adding Factory Navigation at the same time.

Programming & Installation

The SYNC 3 APIM arrives pre-programmed for your truck.

Because you're converting the truck from the factory 4" system to the 8" SYNC 3 system, additional configuration changes are required for the ACM and FCIM.

We provide the necessary FORScan files and detailed instructions for your truck. You'll simply load the supplied files into the appropriate modules after installing the kit.

A Windows computer and compatible FORScan adapter are required to complete the programming.

The physical installation is plug-and-play using our custom conversion harness. No cutting or splicing of your factory wiring is required.

OEM Fit & Finish

This conversion allows you to add the features of SYNC 3 without installing an aftermarket radio.

The OEM Ford touchscreen, bezel and SYNC components integrate into your Super Duty for a clean, factory appearance while adding modern features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and available Factory Navigation.

Important Things to Know

Factory Bluetooth/SYNC Required: Your truck must currently have the factory 4" display with Bluetooth/SYNC capability.

FORScan Required: The APIM arrives programmed, but the supplied ACM and FCIM configuration files must be loaded as part of the conversion.

Navigation Highly Recommended: Factory Navigation is optional, but we highly recommend it for the most complete SYNC 3 setup.
