Programmed for Your Mustang

The SYNC 3 APIM is programmed for your vehicle before shipment.

Unlike a simple screen replacement, converting a Mustang from the factory 4" system to the 8" system also requires configuration changes to other vehicle modules.

We provide the necessary files and instructions for the applicable ACM, FCIM and/or HVAC modules.

FORScan Is Required

After installing the hardware, you will need to use FORScan with a compatible adapter to load the configuration files we provide.

No dealership programming is required.

Navigation Options

Phone Maps:
Every kit supports navigation through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto using apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze.

Ford Built-In Navigation:
If selected, your SYNC 3 system will also include Ford's built-in GPS navigation, allowing navigation without connecting your phone.

Important Notes

Some replacement radio/climate-control bezels are previously used OEM Ford components and may have minor cosmetic wear or light scratches.

Installation requires removing interior trim and factory radio components. FORScan and a compatible adapter are required to complete the module configuration after installation.
