Large 12" SYNC 4 Display
Transform the interior of your 2015–2020 F-150 with the much larger 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen.

The SYNC 4 interface uses the layout with larger climate buttons along the bottom of the screen.
Trucks with automatic climate control:

Genuine OEM Ford SYNC 4 Hardware
At the heart of this conversion are a genuine OEM Ford SYNC 4 APIM and 12-inch touchscreen display.
The APIM is professionally configured for your truck before shipping and supplied with the latest available compatible SYNC 4 software.
This isn't an aftermarket Android tablet designed to imitate Ford's interface. You are getting genuine Ford SYNC 4 hardware integrated into your earlier F-150.
Custom 12" Mounting System
Installing a factory 12-inch SYNC 4 display into a 2015–2020 F-150 requires a purpose-built mounting solution.
The included custom mounting bracket is manufactured from carbon-fiber-filled ASA, providing excellent strength and resistance to heat and UV exposure.
The system is designed to securely integrate the OEM Ford 12-inch display into the earlier F-150 dashboard while maintaining a clean, factory-style appearance.
VIN Programmed & Plug and Play
Your SYNC 4 APIM is pre-programmed for your specific F-150 before shipping.
The conversion kit also includes the required plug-and-play wiring, eliminating the need to cut or splice the factory wiring during a normal installation.
No cutting. No splicing. No guessing at APIM programming.
Connect the supplied components and harnesses using the factory-style connections.

Upgrading From a Factory 4" Radio?
We can also support compatible F-150s originally equipped with the 4-inch non-touchscreen radio.
In addition to the standard SYNC 4 components, these conversions include:

Factory Navigation
SYNC 4 supports Ford's built-in factory navigation system.
Without Navigation Activation
If factory navigation is not selected, the system can display the map and your current vehicle location, but destination entry and Point of Interest search will not be enabled.
With Navigation Enabled
Select the navigation option and built-in navigation functionality will be enabled, allowing you to:
- Enter destinations
- Search for Points of Interest
- Navigate using the factory SYNC 4 interface
- Use built-in navigation without connecting your phone
Factory navigation does not affect Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
You can continue using Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze and other compatible smartphone navigation apps regardless of whether built-in navigation is selected.
Important Compatibility Notes — Please Read Before Ordering
SYNC 4 was not originally designed for 2015–2020 F-150s. This conversion integrates newer Ford technology into the earlier truck platform.
Because of differences between vehicle generations, there are several known limitations.
Please make sure you are comfortable with the applicable limitations before purchasing.
2015–2018 Radio Presets & SiriusXM
On 2015–2018 F-150s, the original ACM software does not fully communicate with SYNC 4.
Without the optional ACM upgrade:
- Radio presets will display as "Preset-1"
- The displayed presets will not function when pressed
- SiriusXM will not function
- Normal radio/audio operation continues to work
- Sound settings continue to function
An optional ACM upgrade is available if you would like to restore radio preset functionality and optionally add or retain SiriusXM and HD Radio.
2019–2020 F-150s
2019–2020 trucks do not have the same radio-preset limitation.
The optional ACM can still be selected if you would like to add SiriusXM or HD Radio to a truck that does not currently have those features.
2015–2017 Trucks Originally Equipped With the 4" Radio
For 2015–2017 F-150s originally equipped with the 4-inch non-touchscreen radio, additional ACM programming is required for proper hands-free phone-call audio.
Without this additional programming, you may not be able to hear the other person during a phone call.
You can resolve this in either of two ways:
Option 1 — Remote ACM Programming: $99
Requires a compatible Windows laptop.
Option 2 — Upgraded ACM:
Purchase the appropriate upgraded ACM with your kit. It will arrive programmed, so no additional remote programming is required.
360° Camera
If your truck is equipped with the factory 360-degree camera system, the camera system and physical camera button continue to work.
However, the on-screen buttons used to manually select different camera viewing angles will not function with the SYNC 4 conversion.
FordPass
If your truck currently has functioning FordPass, it can continue to operate after the SYNC 4 conversion.
Do not perform a Master Reset on the SYNC 4 system.
Performing a Master Reset can break the existing FordPass association. If this occurs, the original SYNC system may need to be temporarily reinstalled to reactivate FordPass.
Massage Seats
If equipped, the factory massage-seat functionality continues to work using the physical controls on the side of the seat.
Massage-seat controls/status will not appear correctly on the SYNC 4 screen unless the applicable seat modules are updated.
Future SYNC 4 Software Updates
Your APIM ships with the latest available compatible SYNC 4 software installed at the time your kit is prepared.
However, because SYNC 4 was not originally offered in these model-year F-150s, future over-the-air SYNC software updates are not supported with this conversion.
Factory CD Player
SYNC 4 does not support the factory CD player.
If your F-150 is equipped with a CD player, CD functionality will no longer be available after the conversion.

Kits With SiriusXM Added
Orders that include the SiriusXM/ACM option may require up to 4 weeks before shipment.
These are processing estimates before shipment and are separate from carrier transit time.
